| | Reminders and Information from MLHS - Students must be present half the day to practice in any extra curricular, and must be here all day to participate or perform in a game/play/event. Special permission can be granted from AD or the Principal.
- If a student receives a UA (unverified absent) a parent has 24 hours to excuse this. More than 1 UA results in a detention.
- Students will begin to select courses mid February-March by grade level. Students will need to get parent, advisor, and department head approval for classes.
- The deadline for course changes will be June 15th, there will be a $25 fee after this date.
- Online classes will be for 11th -12th students only, exceptions for 10th can be made by appealing to advisor. The cost of each class is $300 (no 1st one free).
- Students who are interested in Youth Apprenticeship must first apply with MLHS, students must have a teacher recommendation. The application will be sent out end of January. 11th graders interested in YA must be for AG or Trades only. 12th grade can be for anything.

| | MLHS Represented at the CCC On Sunday 1/15, the Capitol Civic Centre hosted the Lakeshore Wind Ensemble and Big Band concert. MLHS was represented by nine students along with students from Lincoln and Roncalli. The students were featured on the last three pieces of the concert. This is another wonderful example of our students showcasing the gifts the Lord has blessed them with, all glory to God! |

| | | Lancer Boys Basketball The Lancer boys varsity basketball team split games last week to bring their season record to 6-8. On Tuesday 1/10, the Lancers traveled to Oostburg to take on the Flying Dutchmen. The Lancers started strong and held a 10 point lead at halftime, but the Oostburg offense was too much in the second half as the Lancers fell 56-64. The lancers were led in scoring by senior Aidan Franzen with 16 points. Junior Noah Czarneski scored 14, and sophomore Derek Laabs added 9. On Thursday the Hilbert Wolves traveled to MLHS. The Lancers got out to an early lead and took a 20 point lead into halftime and never looked back. The Lancers won 71-48 over Hilbert. Leading all scoring was MLHS' Aidan Franzen with 22 points, Derek Laabs scored 16, and Noah Lukasek tapped in 9 Highlights can be seen by clicking here. | Lancer Girls Basketball The Lancer girls varsity team's winning streak was extended to 5 games and also unfortunately came to an end there. On Tuesday the Lancers hosted Random Lake and were able to outlast a comeback by the Rams. The Lancers were led in scoring by sophomore Ginevra Ermis with 19 points, freshman Marissa Mehlhorn added 18, and freshman Makiah Krause scored 10. On Friday the Lancers hosted the Reedsville Panthers fell 47-51. This week the Lancers host Kiel on Tuesday and Mishicot on Thursday, both games at 7:15. Go Lancers!
