Math (2022-2023)

Our LLS Math Curriculum Team consists of Sarah Augustine, Karen Wordell, Ann Wilson, Chad Marohn, Ryan Jaeger, Phil Hochmuth, Sarah Marohn, Becky Yagodinski, Adam Glodowski, and Peter Kavicky. Our first meeting will be held on August 16, 2022, from 8:30 to 11:30am at MLHS in the conference room. Breakfast will be provided. Thank you, team members, for your service to your Lord and LLS!

Early Childhood

October LLS Early Childhood Professional Development Morning (breakfast at 8:30am / Workshop from 9am-11am):

    • Saturday, October 1st- A Fresh Look at Positive Guidance: This session focuses on positive methods of guiding children in early childhood programs. Activities include examining ways to promote positive behavior in classrooms through prevention, positive guidance techniques, positive verbal guidance and examining logical consequences.

Lakeshore Lutheran Schools K-12 Highlights and Events

Here you will find information from Manitowoc Lutheran High School and any other information you want shared with other school in the Lakeshore Lutheran Schools.

Manitowoc Lutheran High School

 

  • 220 total enrollment which is about where we were last year
  • A freshman class of around 60 is expected
  • 25 full time teachers at MLHS (still short a 2nd pastor to teach in our theology dept)
  • 103 choice students this year
  • 28 students are in the YA program(including 2 serving in our LLS ministries)
  • 12 students signed up for our new intro to agriculture class
  • Our former media center was converted to a new classroom and faculty print area.
  • A new recording studio was created  (look for new Lancer Links videos to be created for grade schools from this location)

    • December 11th: Jr. Lancer Band and Choir Concert at 3:00pm in the MLHS Gym

    • February 17th: Lakeshore Lutheran Children’s Choral Festival at MLHS from 1:00-6:00pm (Concert at 6:00pm in the MLHS Gym)
    • March  10th: Spring Musical Matinee Performance for Lakeshore Lutheran Schools at 9:00am in the MLHS Gym
    • April 21st: Lakeshore Lutheran Music Festival at MLHS
    • April 26th Joint Band Concert with the Jr. Lancer Bands and MLHS Bands at 6:30pm in the MLHS Gym
    • May 20th: MLHS Prism Concert (Jr. Lancer Band – Jazz Kidz perform) at 4:00 & 7:00pm in the MLHS Gym

OTHER LAKESHORE LUTHERAN SCHOOL INFORMATION

Part-time Afternoon Preschool Assistant Needed: Jesus’ Lambs of Grace Preschool is looking for one or more people that would be able to assist with the care of children during the afternoon hours of 1:00-5:30pm. If you are over the age of 18, love working with children, have one or more weekly afternoons available, and would like a flexible part-time job, please contact the school office at 920-482-0001 to apply. 

Trinity Lutheran School is hiring an afternoon lead teacher / childcare position (Monday-Friday, approx 28 hrs/wk) for the upcoming 2022-23 school year in our Early Childhood Education Program. Trinity is looking for applicants who are at least 18 years old and eager to work with children ranging in age from 3 to 12 years old. Experience is preferred but not required. Pay rate is $13 - $16.50, dependent on experience. Applications and job description are available by emailing tlc@trinitybrillion.org.
