MLHS FINE ARTS

Lancer Singer / Jazz Band Tour to some of our LLS took place October 25th & 26th.  We would like to thank Maribel, Morrision, Reedsville, and Brillion for their warm welcome. We look forward to visiting our other schools in the years to come!

MLHS Receives Brighter Image Award

On the evening of Tuesday, October 25th at the Resch Expo in Green Bay, Manitowoc Lutheran High School was one of over 50 schools to be nominated, but the sole winner of the 2022 Brighter Image award from the NEW Manufacturing Alliance. Some of the things taken into consideration for this award were how the local high schools partner with business to to promote careers in manufacturing. When it comes to what is happening here at MLHS each day, it's no surprise to those here each day but might surprise many. (To learn more about the NEW Manufacturing Alliance visit their website.)

  • December 11th: Jr. Lancer Band and Choir Concert at 3:00pm in the MLHS Gym
  • December 22nd: MLHS Christmas Concert at 4:30 & 7:30pm at the Capitol Civic Centre
  • February 17th: Lakeshore Lutheran Children’s Choral Festival at MLHS from 1:00-6:00pm (Concert at 6:00pm in the MLHS Gym)
  • March  10th: Spring Musical Matinee Performance for Lakeshore Lutheran Schools at 9:00am in the MLHS Gym

Information and music for the Lakeshore Lutheran Children’s Choral Festival will be coming before Thanksgiving.  Please coordinate with your music teacher / fine arts contact to answer the questionnaire.  Thanks!

OTHER LAKESHORE LUTHERAN SCHOOL INFORMATION

St. John's in Two Rivers is looking for a part-time teacher starting after Christmas break. This position teaches from 9:00-11:00 every day, and the classes this individual would be responsible for are 5-6 literature, 5-6 writing, 7-8 literature, 7-8 writing, and 5-8 art. Trinity Lutheran School is hiring an afternoon lead teacher / childcare position (Monday-Friday, approx 28 hrs/wk) for the upcoming 2022-23 school year in our Early Childhood Education Program. Trinity is looking for applicants who are at least 18 years old and eager to work with children ranging in age from 3 to 12 years old. Experience is preferred but not required. Lakeshore Lutheran League and Athletics
