Schools have 5 testing windows available with Fastbridge. You do not need to utilize all 5; however, our team would recommend a minimum of 3 assessments per year (beginning, middle and end). The summer assessment window serves the purpose of assessing new students coming to your school. -
Keturah Hochmuth is willing to come out to your school to help with your next round of assessments and/or with reading reports. Email her at khochmuth@mlhslancers.org. -
UPDATE: Barton Reading and Spelling Program- Last year, our LLS SPED Team recommended the Barton Reading and Spelling Program (along with Fastbridge) for a high-quality reading intervention program. Our team is willing to (if there is interest): -
Offer training to any and all reading interventionists that will be implementing Barton. We were waiting until schools had a 2nd FAST data point to identify students in need of reading intervention before offering training and support with Barton. -
Training on the 1st level of Barton will be offered in late January or early February. -
Training on the 2nd level of Barton will be offered in late February or early March. -
We have trained, experienced Barton mentors ready to assist your interventionists. They will help and support implementation throughout the school year as they are able. -
More information will be provided by Mr. Marohn to principals soon. -
Principals- Title 1,2 or 4 funds can be used to purchase Barton. |
