Volunteer Information:
Everyone over the age of 18 will need to undergo a background check. Volunteers will be asked to attend one training session to prepare for the event. All sessions will be held at Manitowoc Lutheran High School. Please watch your emails for more information about the training sessions.
Welcome Team: Welcome guests as they arrive. Assist both the guests and parents/caretakers through the check-in process.
Coat Check Team: Greet guests, take their coats, label them and hang them. As guests leave, retrieve their coats.
Event Set-up/Decoration Team: Under the direction of the team lead, arrive at the designated time and execute event set-up. This will include time on Thursday, February 8th and/or Friday, February 9th prior to the event.
Parking Team: Maintain a parking pattern and direct traffic for easy vehicle entry and exit. Maintain open fire and emergency lanes. Assist guests as they exit vehicles and help them find the registration area. Be available as guests return to their vehicles following the event.
Buddy Team: Accompany and assist assigned guest throughout the evening, providing companionship and assistance they may need throughout the event. Sit with guest during dinner and engage in conversation.
Walk-in Buddy: Be available to serve as a buddy to a walk-in guest. If not needed, volunteers will transition to other event areas. High flexibility needed for this position.
Limo Loading Team: Help guests in and out of the limos. In certain cases, heavy lifting may be necessary.

Red Carpet/Paparazzi Team: Line the red carpet as honored guests walk the red carpet. Cheer guests on to make them feel welcome and treat them as celebrities. Red Carpet team needed for the first half of the event only.
Photo Booth Team: Help guests access the photo booth and assist as needed.
Food Service Team: Serve food to guests in main event space. Be knowledgeable about the items and assist guests in finding what they would like. Refill food warmers and drinks. Assistance will be available for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies.
Hospitality Room Team: Assist in the Hospitality Room for the parents/caretakers by serving food and giving them any assistance they may need while they sit back and relax.
Karaoke Team: Assist the karaoke leader, encourage the guests to sing, and help guests enjoy themselves.
Games Team: Assist with the game set-up, encourage the guests to participate, and help guests enjoy themselves.
Dance Floor Team: Monitor the dance floor and the perimeter to make sure there are no "wallflowers." Invite guests to dance and monitor for any safety issues on the dance floor.
Bathroom Attendant Team: Help guests find the restroom and offer assistance in the restroom if needed. If a guest requires assistance with more than getting in and out of a stall or hand washing, it is appropriate to contact their parent or caregiver for assistance. *will be limited to 2-hour shifts*
Balloon Guys Team: Assist the balloon artists with crowd control. Engage the guests in conversation while they wait for their balloon creations.
