Big News: The MATCH is STILL ON!

The MLHS building project continues to move forward with plans to break ground this summer.

The board of control will approve a plan for what gets done afterwards based on funding, cost of the particular stages of the project, and an approved line of credit. The goal is to see the project through to its completion while also being good stewards of the resources we’ve been given by God’s people.

The donors of the $600,000 match have agreed to extend the match past March!!! What a blessing!  www.mlhslancers.org/donate

Manitowoc County Junior Leadership

This year Olivia Ronski was MLHS' representative for the Manitowoc County Chamber's Junior Leadership program. On Wednesday April 13th, students from all the Manitowoc County high schools presented their service projected they coordinated this year and received their program graduation certificates.

Olivia and her team partnered with the Manitowoc Salvation Army. They helped to coordinate and serve the Thanksgiving Day meal, organized a food drive, and of course rang bells outside around Christmas.

This is another great opportunity for our students to work in the community and let their light shine. Current sophomores and/or parents who may be interested in this for next year please email Mr. Paul Durkee at pdurkee@mlhslancers.org

PRISM CONCERT AUDITIONS!

I know that you are probably thinking Prism?  Isn’t that at the end of the year?  Isn’t that just for the music students?

Well, the end of the year is fast approaching and the auditions for the Prism Concert are open to ALL students at MLHS!  We want to celebrate the talents of the Lancer student body!

The idea of the Prism Concert is that it features a variety of music and talent.  We have had singing, dancing, rock bands, international students playing their native instruments, silly musical acts, and many more examples.  We encourage you to put your thinking caps on and come up with a way to share your talents with your friends and family here at MLHS.  Start planning NOW!  The auditions will be upon us sooner than you think.
